by Aimee DeBaun

This kit has been designed in collaboration with Aimee DeBaun to knit the Cozy Karma Hat (and swatch for gauge) and the Little Karma Flags as instructed.

For this kit we used the eight colors of the mYak Cashmere Pop Color collection – our tribute to the rebel spirit of the Tibetan people.  The Little Karma Flags takes inspiration from the colorful Tibetan Prayer Flags scattered everywhere on the Tibetan Plateau that carry prayers and wishes to the wind.  The swatches are a wonderful way to learn new stitch patterns, bind off techniques, play with gauge and blocking. The best part is the immediate gratification in a quick completion of each swatch.

The patterns for the little flags are laid out by Willa Shalit and chosen with her permission from her collection of swatch patterns found on instagram @knit_play.

Each kit contains the yarn you will need to complete your project.

NOTE: on our baby yak colors, we only dye on the natural basis we have, no bleaching or decoloring so depending on the shade of the natural fiber, each color will vary from season to season, making it darker or lighter. This is the beauty of working with natural fiber and so the shade of the sample you see photographed, not always correspond to the shade we have in stock or at your local LYS.
