Little Castle Hat
My pieces come from the Tibet of my imagination. I wanted to use elements that are connected to Tibet, its landscapes, colors and people, but I also wanted to see where the color and texture of the yarn would take me on its own. I chose shapes and elements that were uncommon and slightly whimsical, to disconnect the pieces from a particular time and place and root them in their own world (Sarah Solomon).
This hat combines structural elements to frame the face and disparate motifs for an eclectic look. It’s varied sections make for interesting knitting and the finished piece is both warm and eye-catching.
Each kit contains the yarn you will need to complete your project, a digital download code for the pattern, a fun project bag, and a few surprises.
