Sunset on the Plateau

I love the interplay of natural, undyed yarns combined with rich bright colors, so I wanted to create a shawl that highlights that beauty. I selected a simple, repetitive lace pattern to take advantage of the etherial quality of the yarn, and let the colors take center stage. The sunsets I see outside of my living room window inspired me to arranged the colors in bands with one color merging into the next. I can only imagine how stunning a sunset must be on the Tibetan Plains where the mYak Cashmere originates. (Kirsten Kapur)

Sunset on the Plateau is a joyful asymmetrical, curved triangle shawl. It is a breeze to knit, and provides the perfect opportunity to experiment with color. It begins at one narrow end and increases to the border.

Each kit contains the yarn you will need to complete your project, a digital download code for the pattern, a fun project bag, and a few surprises.
