The location of our summer retreat could only be the stunning Dolomites mountains, in the small village where Paola grew up and still calls home.
Year by year, this retreat is becoming one of the favorite places for our community of knitters to be at: the mountains, the vibrant flowers, and the refreshing breeze create a profound sense of relaxation.
For this retreat, we are thrilled to welcome back the one and only Isabell Kraemer (third retreat together). What makes working with Isabell truly special is her capability to consistently teach something different, always showcasing the evolution of her creativity.
We will stay at the Eco-Hotel Park Hotel Azalea: a sustainable, welcoming, modern, and colorful hotel designed around a philosophy centered on making people feel good. It offers eco-friendly, 100% healthy cuisine with organic products sourced at zero km.
We will discover the beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, spend one day on the alpine pasture with starred chef Alessandro Gilmozzi, foraging local plants together and enjoying a delicious lunch in a mountain lodge with an aperitif and cheese tasting.
We will relax and knit in the gorgeous garden, and good food will not be missing, of course!
Included in this Retreat:
Transfers: on arrival (June 16, 2026) and departure (June 20, 2026) by private coach from Milano Malpensa Airport.
You should arrive at Milano Malpensa Airport on June 16. Pick up from airport will be around 1:30 pm (it’s a 4 hours drive to Cavalese)
At the end of the retreat, there will a bus leaving the retreat location at 6:30am to take you to Malpensa airport or train station. Arrival at Malpensa will be around 11:30 am.
Please note that if you arrive later than 1:30Pm or have an early departure, you will be responsible for your own transportation. Please let us know if you decide to rent your own car at Malpensa or arrive by train instead of traveling by bus with the rest of the group.

Accommodation for 4 nights at the Azalea Park Hotel in Cavalese

Two workshops with our special guest Isabell Kraemer
One day on the alpine pasture. We will have a walk in the mountains with chef Alessandro foraging local plants together and enjoying a delicious lunch in a mountain lodge with an aperitif and cheese tasting.

Cooking Demonstration “Mani In Pasta” with Starred Chef Alessandro Gilmozzi, available only upon registration.

Cancellation policy
You may cancel your participation to the retreat up to December 1, 2025.
You will receive a refund for your deposit less $300 cancellation fee per person (not per room).
After December 1, 2025, no refund will be issued. Balance is due by January 6, 2026.
Insurance is not included in the fees and we strongly advise to ask international
coverage with your insurance carrier.
