This kit is the add on to the Cozy Karma Hat, who doesn’t love an add on accessory? Created using the vibrant colors of mYak’s Tibetan Cloud yarn, we utilized the palette of the Cozy Karma Hat. Available in a variety of curated color combinations.
The Cozy Karma Kits are more than just a knitting project—they are a mindful journey, perfect for those looking to cultivate tranquility, creativity, and self-care, one stitch at a time.
This kit maximize the yarn, minimizing left overs.
CONSTRUCTION:
This cozy scarf / wrap is worked in the “no purl” rib stitch which allows for an accordion like fabric that can squish together when wrapped round your neck or flow wide to be worn as a wrap. This scarf uses a Cozy Karma Hat Kit for the stripes + 2 full skeins of Tibetan Cloud that as a main color. Gauge is important to ensure that you don’t run out of yarn. If you wish to make the scarf less wide you can choose to do so. The broken rib pattern is worked over 4+3 stitches by slipping 1 stitch and knitting 3.
After casting on, follow the row count for each color block section. The striping at the ends of the scarf has a blended effect while the stripping in the middle is in color blocks.
The design allows for the middle stripes to be shown off when wrapped around your neck. Yarn is carried up when blending stripes are made and woven in along the way so as not to weave them in at the end.
