Asè Sweater

“Asè” (the word for “enough” in the dialect spoken in Bologna) is an oversized, seamless sweater, knit from the top down in one piece.
The knitting starts from the twisted rib collar and continues in short rows to shape the neckline and shoulders.
Next the yoke is knit, continuing with the increases. The shoulders are embellished with an interesting mix of cables and lace.
The shoulder stitches are left on waste yarn and the front and back are divided and worked flat to the armholes. Finally, the top is once again joined in the round and the body is shaped with a series of increases and ends with a small twisted rib border.
Finally, the shoulder stitches are picked up to work the sleeves. The cable and lace pattern continues along the sleeve without decreasing; the sleeve ends with a twisted rib border.
Each kit contains the yarn you will need to complete your project.
