Because these new bright Cashmere colors are a departure for mYak, but a true reflection of Tibetan arts and culture, I was intent on using Tibetan textiles as an inspiration for my cowl. I came across a Tibetan sitting rug with a two-color diamond block design, and fell in love with the simple yet striking pattern. The bright red blocks on a worn golden ochre color directly influenced the colors I chose and the pattern I created.
