mYak Retreat in Italy | Monferrato Region | September 28th – October 2nd, 2026

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our special guest: the highly admired designer, Olga Putano!

This will be her first time visiting and teaching in Italy, and we can’t wait to welcome her talent to the retreat.

Our retreat will take place in the Monferrato area, where you will experience the delightful fusion of Ligurian influences paired with the rich flavors of Piedmont.  The location is so special that it lends its name to the renowned wine, Gavi di Gavi.

We’ll take part in the traditional Vendemmia (grape harvest), one of the most cherished activities that brings Italian families together. Following the harvest, we’ll visit a local cellar to enjoy a private wine tasting experience.

Due to the strong Ligurian culinary influence in the area, we will also learn how to make the perfect focaccia. You’ll have the opportunity to knead the dough and discover all the secrets of classic Italian bread making.

Finally, we are busy preparing an emotional surprise that we can’t wait to unveil to you over the next few months!

Olga Putano will teach two amazing workshops that we can’t wait to reveal.

A summer retreat in the Italian Dolomites? Sign me up!

The location of our summer retreat could only be the stunning Dolomites mountains, in the small village where Paola grew up and still calls home.

Year by year, this retreat is becoming one of the favorite places for our community of knitters to be at: the mountains, the vibrant flowers, and the refreshing breeze create a profound sense of relaxation.

For this retreat, we are thrilled to welcome back the one and only Isabell Kraemer (third retreat together). What makes working with Isabell truly special is her capability to consistently teach something different, always showcasing the evolution of her creativity.

We have been completely overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and incredible demand for our upcoming 2026 Knitting Retreat in the Dolomites with the wonderful Isabell Kraemer!

The initial retreat filled up in a heartbit, and we’ve received so many requests, that we simply couldn’t disappoint anyone! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have organized a SECOND GROUP to follow the first one.

We will stay at the Eco-Hotel Park Hotel Azalea: a sustainable, welcoming, modern, and colorful hotel designed around a philosophy centered on making people feel good. It offers eco-friendly, 100% healthy cuisine with organic products sourced at zero km.

We will discover the beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, spend one day on the alpine pasture with starred chef Alessandro Gilmozzi, foraging local plants together and enjoying a delicious lunch in a mountain lodge with an aperitif and cheese tasting.

We will relax and knit in the gorgeous garden, and good food will not be missing, of course!

We hold this island dear and are thrilled to share its unique charm with you.

To make this retreat truly exceptional, we’ve invited Sari Nordlund, a designer deeply admired for her talent within our community.
