Our Kiss Blanket is inspired by Moran Malron’ design with the same name and is one of our favorite accessories for snuggling up on a cool evening.
The original version was knit by Paola with one color that is no longer in production, so the 9 colors combo presented looks a bit different that the FO but we think it is even better than the original: Salice Grigio, Wild Daisy, Botton D’Oro, Passiflora, Peony, Cherry Blossom, Pink Magnolia, Cladonia, and Shaded Fern.
This is a color block blanket worked in two-row garter stitch stripes, knitted back and forth while alternating between two colors in each block. There’s no right or wrong side. One side creates clean, sharp stripes, while the other side makes merging stripes, and we really can’t tell which one is prettier.
If you are looking for a super simple and meditative project, the Kiss blanket is for you! Make sure you look at details below as dimensions and CO are different than the original pattern. You will need to cast on 230 stitches.
