Murano Slippers are inspired by the iconic velvet “Friulane” slippers that have been part of Venetian fashion history since the 19th century. These have come to symbolize “la dolce vita”, or the sweet life. I thought it was definitely time for a luxurious knitted version! These were designed especially for a Venetian retreat with mYak using their very special 100% Baby Yak Medium yarn.
I hope you feel that luxury and a little bit of the sweet life when you wear yours. ♡ 

Murano Slippers are knit in Baby Yak medium and work up so quickly! They are the perfect little slipper, bed sock or gift for someone special.

This is the perfect project to embellish with a little embroidery, sparkle, beads, ribbon, a monogram or whatever you can imagine to make your slippers even more unique and special. So many possibilities!

Each bundle contains 2 or 4 skeins of Baby Yak Medium and 5 yarn samplers that you can use for the embellishment.

The pattern is not included.

NOTES

On our baby yak colors, we only dye on the natural basis we have. No bleaching or decoloring.  Each color will vary from season to season, so depending on the shade of the natural fiber, making it darker or lighter. This is the beauty of working with natural fibers. The shade of the sample you see photographed, will not always correspond to the shade we have in stock or at your local LYS.
