[The Warmth of Baby Yak, Across the Seasons] By holding mYak Baby Yak Lace double, I achieved a garment that is incredibly lightweight. It is perfect as a standalone piece during transitional seasons, yet thin enough to layer comfortably under a tailored coat or a puffer jacket in winter. Thanks to the natural properties of yak fibre, it provides exceptional warmth without the bulk.
[A Time for Letting Go and Filling Up] Knitting with fine yarn and 3.25mm needles requires a fair share of patience and time. This is why it is named after the Korean Buddhist tradition of 108 Bows (prostrations). Just as each bow represents letting go of a worry to make room for peace and intention, knitting this intricate pattern offers a meditative experience—a chance to quiet the mind and stay present with every stitch.
[A Record of Shared Happiness] When I first released the 108 Sweater, I hosted a 108-day ’KAL‘ (Knit-Along). Many knitters joined in, infusing their stitches with personal wishes and hopes. Miraculously, many shared wonderful news and happy events during that journey. It is my sincere hope that the time you spend knitting the 108 Cardigan brings you the same sense of peace and that the finished garment becomes a vessel for happiness in your life.
