Kola Cabled Sweater
From: $378.00
by Paola Vanzo
Kola is an homage to my husband’s original homeplace, the Kola Peninsula – high up in the Arctic Circle, where temperatures plummet in winter and mountains are covered in frost. A labor of love for Igor who wanted to wear a one of a kind sweater after feeling the softness and warmth of the fabric created by the mYak baby yak yarn. This cabled pullover has a relaxed fit that can be layered and a turtleneck for extra warmth.
This design is full of delightful details that will keep you interested every step of the way. The turtleneck has an all over cable pattern with garter and seed stitch backgrounds. A saddle shoulder construction makes this sweater infinitely cozy to pull on and wear. The tubular cast on and bind off allows the squishy fisherman’s rib to seamlessly flow off the edge of the garment. Knit in cozy worsted weight mYak baby yak Medium, this sweater might be the warmest and softest thing in the wardrobe.
