Whisperlike is worked seamlessly from the top down in one piece. The yoke for the sweater is initially worked flat to give shaping to the neckline. Increases are worked to both the side fronts and the back and the shoulder lace panel is established. Stitches are then cast on for the center front neckline and the yoke is joined for working in the round. The front, back and lace shoulder panels are then worked simultaneously. Once the shoulders are completed, front and back are worked separately to form the armholes, and after that, the rest of the body is worked in the round. Lastly, stitches are picked up at sleeves and neckband for the ribbing.
