by Susan Chin for Laine Issue 13

Barchan is a crescent shaped dune. Name was chosen to reflect the texture and shape of the shawl, which is a reflection of textures and formations in nature left behind from wind and water. Snow drifts, sand dunes, water ripples are a few examples.

Barchan comes in two versions: a small and a large version, detailed as size 1 and 2 in the pattern. Size 1 is smaller and crocheted in one color (Urban Nature in the original design).

Size 2 is larger and crocheted in two colors, Mustard and Chocolate. Baby Yak lace is held double throughout.

Each kit contains the yarn you will need to complete your project.

The pattern is not included.
