Infinita Cowl

Infinite in Italian which this cowl truly as the stripes allow you to wear it in any direction, there is no “wrong side” only the right side, so no fussing. Another perfect partner for the A.N.T. Hat. Because it’s reversible and infinite in it’s construction it can be worn with any side or edge showing.

CONSTRUCTION

Infinita is seamless. Starting with a provisional cast on, Infinita is knit in the round in stockinette using 4 colors of baby yak lace held double or any fingering weight yarn.
After following the instructions for striping, the last color is knit with one less round to accommodate the row created by joining the live stitches from the provisional cast on with the live stitches of the last stripe via Kitchener Stitch. MYAK’S BABY YAK is one of the best yarns for Kitchener as it does not felt or degrade while weaving through each of the 312 stitches. The yarn looks and feels just the same as it did through the first stitch.
I Both written and video instruction are provided in the pattern. Feel free to substitute the 3 needle bind off method to join the live stitches, however it will leave a visible seam.
