Le Bandana is a fun little accessory designed by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée. This is the basic recipe for Aimée’s knitted bandana shape – there are a lot of ways to make this bandana your own by incorporating stripes, color blocking, and intarsia. Aimée and her testers have knit and published many beautiful versions of Le Bandana but when we saw the version that Anne (@by_anne_c) created, we knew we had to knit something similar. Our version is knit with a skein of Baby Yak or Tibetan Cashmere Lace held double with five colors of the Baby Yak | Silk blend. The yarn bundle shown here is to knit our version.
In addition to the basic recipe, this pattern also includes instructions for knitting big stripes, and for making a slightly larger size with stripes. If this is the version you want to knit, you will need a different yarn bundle.
Each bundle contains the yarn you will need to complete your project.
The pattern is not included but we will send you a detailed chart for color placements and instructions for our version.
