We are heading back to the breathtaking Cavalese, the beautiful village that Paola calls home. Over the years, this retreat has grown into a deeply loved tradition for our knitting community. It is a place where the majestic peaks, blooming wildflowers, and crisp mountain air blend together to offer true peace and relaxation.

During our stay, we will be unwinding at the Eco-Hotel Park Hotel Azalea. This vibrant, modern, and eco-conscious haven is completely dedicated to wellness, serving up wholesome, 100% healthy meals crafted entirely from organic, locally sourced ingredients.

Beyond our knitting sessions overlooking hotel’s lovely garden, we will immerse ourselves in the natural wonders of this UNESCO World Heritage region. A major highlight of the trip will be spending a day on the alpine pastures alongside Michelin-starred chef Alessandro Gilmozzi. Together, we will forage for native plants, enjoy a curated aperitif and cheese tasting, and sit down for a memorable lunch at a cozy mountain lodge. You can look forward to endless hours of knitting, profound relaxation, and—of course—phenomenal food!

Our Guest Designer

We are absolutely delighted to welcome talented Zanete Hussain as our special guest for this retreat! What makes working alongside Zanete so truly extraordinary is her gift for introducing fresh, inventive techniques at every turn, offering us a beautiful front-row seat to her ever-evolving creative journey. She will teach two workshops: Ladderback Jacquard: The Key To Stunning Stranded Knitting and Fearless Finishes: Transform Your Knitting with Steeking.

As a special treat for this getaway, she is creating two brand-new patterns, giving you the exclusive privilege of experiencing them as a first-look preview.

Included in this Retreat:

Transfers: on arrival (June 24, 2027) and departure (June 28,  2027) by private coach from Milano Malpensa Airport.

You should arrive at Milano Malpensa Airport on June 24. Pick up from airport will be around 1:30 pm (it’s a 4 hours drive to Cavalese)

At the end of the retreat, there will a bus leaving the retreat location at 6:30am to take you to Malpensa airport or train station. Arrival at Malpensa will be around 11:30 am.

Please note that if you arrive later than 1:30pm or have an early departure, you will be responsible for your own transportation. Please let us know if you decide to rent your own car at Malpensa or arrive by train instead of traveling by bus with the rest of the group.

Accommodation:

Accommodation for 4 nights at the Azalea Park Hotel in Cavalese ( please note that rooms do not have air conditioning but hotel can provide a fan )

Daily buffet breakfast

4 lunches, 3 dinners and a pizza night followed by the best ice-cream in town

Two workshops with our special guest Zanete Hussain @zaneteknits

One day on the alpine pasture.  We will have a walk in the mountains with chef Alessandro foraging local plants together and enjoying a delicious lunch in a mountain lodge with an aperitif and cheese tasting.

Cooking Demonstration “Mani In Pasta” with Starred Chef Alessandro Gilmozzi, available only upon registration.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel your participation to the retreat up to December 1, 2026.

You will receive a refund for your deposit less $300 cancellation fee per person (not per room).

After December 1, 2025, no refund will be issued. Balance is due by January 6, 2027.

Insurance is not included in the fees and we strongly advise to ask international

coverage with your insurance carrier.
