Silverlining is the result of my having been on an 8 hour long train ride through a mountainous region with views obscured by thick fog, no internet access, and forgotten knitting! Luckily I had my graph paper and a pencil in my backpack, so I occupied myself by designing this yoke.

This sweater is entirely seamless and worked in the round from the top down. The colorwork chart, with its simple geometric shapes that form a mirror image, is easy to knit, rhythmic and meditative as you work. With top down construction, a chart that’s not complicated, and with worsted or DK weight yarn that knits of quickly, I consider this to be one of my easiest yoke sweater patterns that’s approachable for colorwork beginners.
