As soon as I saw the dark grey color, I knew it needed to be a classic buttoned vest with cables, and the phrase I kept hearing in my head was “luxurious librarian”, a vibe I knew would be fun to lean into once I had my Fall wardrobe out!
The overall cable motif is subtle, with just a bit of hidden texture, the button bands are worked in twisted rib for added visual interest, and the ribbed hem plays right into the cable motif, but otherwise kept the design simple and classic. Since Shadow is such a perfect wardrobe staple, Smokeshow is that versatile piece that is meant to wear with anything!
