Our Kora Club is more than a yarn club
It’s a way for us to give you a taste of our love for Tibetan Culture and its people, a way for you to join our path, to walk together and help in our effort to support Tibetan communities. But we are also an Italian brand so we had to bring something Italian into the Club, a special surprise for each club crafted with love in our home country.
What does the club include and how does it work?
Every other month we will introduce a limited edition colorway of our Baby Yak Medium (other lines might follow) based on the mood we have created for that month. The mood is inspired by the colors of Tibet, its culture and landscape. There is no automatic renewal so you are not bound to get the bi-monthly club if you don’t like what you see.
Registration is now open for two weeks until , or before if we sell out. Your club will ship at the middle of June.
The guest designer is Aimee DeBaun and she has created the Embrace cowl with 2 skeins of Dusty Blue and 1 skein of Grape. (see below for more information)
Each club includes:
- Limited colorway skeins: you can choose the basic club with the number of skeins you want (3 to 8).
- You can add 1 skein of Grape to knit the Embrace Cowl
- The exclusive shawl pattern by Aimee DeBaun
A card with the monthly mood
- In addition you can select the following add on: “From Italy with love” (click the link to read more). This add on changes for every club and is something special made in Italy. It could be something handmade, special delicacies, something good for your body and soul, or something you could use for your creativity.
Note: Yarn club cannot be substituted for other colors and is non-refundable.

This simple bandana style allows it to be worn with a t-shirt, a sweater or under your lapel coat allowing it to peek out and offer you warmth and color.
Designer Bio: Aimee DeBaun
I’m a professional knitter, which sounds more impressive than it is, simply put I get paid for knitting and only because I enjoy it. I certainly don’t make a solid living doing it, that comes from my other job. My mother taught me to knit and to stash yarn which I may have to start a 12 step program for it. Stasher’s Anonymous. And like all of you I fell in love with having strands of yarn and a set of needles in my hands and available at anytime during the day.
I only recently started designing, my confidence in that area has just begun. It came out of a passion for color and how color plays together. I enjoy easy traveling knits. Don’t get me wrong I love knitting sweaters other peoples designs, but I’m a sucker for accessories, hats, cowls, scarves, wrist warmers and baby blankets, the allow me to pay with color and keep the design simple and not clash with the colors. They allow the colors to speak for themselves.
Paola, Andrea, and the whole mYak team have been so instrumental in encouraging me to take a leap of faith and support me with designing. I love collaborating and mYak’s yarn is a dream to knit with and a true gift to have them have faith in me to design with them.
