Our Kora Club is more than a yarn club

It’s a way for us to give you a taste of our love for Tibetan Culture and its people, a way for you to join our path, to walk together and help in our effort to support Tibetan communities. But we are also an Italian brand so we had to bring something Italian into the Club, a special surprise for each club crafted with love in our home country.

What does the club include and how does it work?

Every other month we will introduce a limited edition colorway of our Baby Yak Medium (other lines might follow) based on the mood we have created for that month. The mood is inspired by the colors of Tibet, its culture and landscape. There is no automatic renewal so you are not bound to get the bi-monthly club if you don’t like what you see.

Registration is now open for two weeks until, or before if we sell out. Your club will ship in two weeks.

The guest designer is Sari Nordlund and she has created the Éclair Scarf in the exclusive new color Smeraldo (see below for more information)

Each club includes:

• Limited colorway skeins: you can choose the basic club with the number of skeins you want (3 to 8).
• The exclusive pattern by Sari Nordlund
• A card with the monthly mood
• In addition you can select the following add on: “From Italy with love” (click the link to read more).

This add on changes for every club and is something special made in Italy. It could be something handmade, special delicacies, something good for your body and soul, or something you could use for your creativity.

About Scarf

The Éclair scarf is a small scarf with a classic and simple cable pattern. Knitting cables is meditative, creating a sense of harmony as you become fully immersed in the rhythm of the pattern and the soothing repetition of the stitches.

A Éclair scarf is a cute accessory that can add color, warmth and style to any outfit. It is a quick project to make and effortless to wear.  The Éclair scarf comes in three sizes. The largest size is long enough to wrap around your neck a few times, or you can loosely loop it around your neck. The smallest size reaches around your neck once. Whether worn around the neck or used as a headband, a small knitted scarf is a versatile and practical accessory. You can also easily modify the sizes for longer or wider scarves, just keep adding more pattern repeats until you reach the desired size.

The Éclair Scarf is worked from one tip to the other. The scarf is knitted in the simple and classic cable pattern which is suitable for adventurous beginners. The edges are knitted with slipped stitches that look like an i-cord.

Designer Bio:  Sari Nordlund

Sari Nordlund is a professional knitwear designer from Finland. Her work has been published in many of the prestigious knitting magazines, such as Laine magazine, Pom Pom Quarterly and Amirisu. Sari has also worked as a freelance designer for leading yarn companies, including Woolfolk and Brooklyn Tweed. Her book “Softly – Timeless knits” came out in October 2023 and it has been an instant bestseller.

Sari’s designing work is inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and Nordic nature. She loves to create timeless classics and brings her love for contemporary Scandinavian design into her knitting patterns. Sari loves knitting cables and all kinds of textured stitches using rustic natural fibers in neutral colors, but doesn’t shy away from color work or lace either. Her most popular knitting patterns are the Laulu shawl, the Poet sweater, the Kuutar pullover and the Seleste pullover.
