INSIEME is the Italian word for ‘together’ – that’s what’s becoming more important than ever nowadays. The wrist warmers were initially just knitted to fulfill a wish my goddaughter addressed. I liked the fit and look, so it became a pattern and facing the actual worldwide crisis, hopefully also a bit of a helping hand for people dear to me…
The wrist warmers are worked in rounds, featuring a twisted rib pattern shaped by increases for a perfect thumb fit and a small Japanese stitch pattern as decorative edging.
I highly recommend solid or semisolid plied yarns, creating a visible stitch definition.
