1# Tiger | Tangerine
The first new color of our Tibetan Zodiac is Tangerine associated with the powerful Tiger.
Tigers, according to the zodiac, are very intelligent, works fast, play hard and find it easy to be successful in everything they get into. They get along well with others, especially in a group and bring energizing vibes to any situation. They are compassionate people, who look for ways to help others and bring justice. Tigers are intuitive, sensitive and empathetic to others, able to tune into the subtlest nuances and changes around them.
Tiger are also very independent and unlikely to listen to what you have to say and will charge headfirst into his passions and goals.
Tigers are associated with orange, the color of their striped fur. It seems that this color allows tiger to blend perfectly into the background as their pray are mostly dichromats and therefore do not distinguish orange from green, making this color the perfect camouflage .
Our Tangerine shade wants to bring optimism and energy to this new year. While the Tibetan new year falls in February , the Chinese Lunar new year starts on January 22. Oranges, kumquats, tangerines and pomelos are popular New Year food gifts, as they’re believed to bring good luck, happiness and long life.
Our Tangerine is a bold, saturated orange shade that marries the fierceness of red and the cheerfulness of yellow. Tangerine is youthful, playful and energetic, complementing colors in the orange color palette, or those associated with a sunset, such as yellows, blues, and purples. It is also a beautiful accent when used in conjunction with neutrals such as greys and creams, as well as bold pinks.
