We chose the word regenerate for the mood of this club, in the hopes that through knitting, crochet and / or weaving with a soothing color, our mind, body and soul will regenerate and feel more resilient to current events.
We extend to you all an olive branch and introduce you to the new club color OLIVA (Olive), the peaceful one. Italians cannot survive without olive oil in their life, and green symbolizes growth and harmony.
The olive tree is one of the most beloved and sacred trees. It lives longer than other fruit trees, and its rare and wonderful ability to survive has made it a symbol of peace, friendship, wisdom, fertility, prosperity, health, stability, and tranquility.
In the story of Noah’s Ark, the white dove who was sent to look for land returned with a sign of life, an olive branch, thus the olive tree is referred to as “The Tree of Life“.
