Iro (色) means “colors” in Japanese and in this project we used eight of them together.
Iro s a short-sleeved crop worked from the top-down with circular needles. Gradual increases are made in the yoke up to the sleeves that will be put on hold onto holder or scrap yarn and then resumed later. This way there will be no seams. This pattern features stranded knitting technique. The yoke is made up of a single chart that contains the increases. A sequence of very simple bicolored motifs is distributed in yoke, body and sleeves. We have chosen to use all the colors of the wonderful Kupa yarn, the eight shades of color as well as being beautiful are all well together and in any way they are combined they create a pleasant chromatic balance.
In the pattern there is also a version with only two colors. Iro is designed as a crop (short in the body) but it is also possible to make the standard version by repeating the Chart of the body twice as indicated in the instructions. Iro è un crop a maniche corte lavorato dall’alto verso il basso con in ferri circolari. Si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. In questo modo non ci saranno cuciture. È interamente realizzato con la tecnica jacquard, nello sprone si segue un unico schema contenente gli aumenti. Una sequenza di semplicissime greche colorate si distribuisce nello sprone, nel corpo e nelle maniche corte. Abbiamo scelto di utilizzare tutti i colori disponibili del meraviglioso filato Kupa, le otto tonalità di colore oltre ad essere bellissime stanno tutte bene fra di loro e in qualunque modo vengano abbinate creano un gradevole equilibrio cromatico.
Nel pattern è proposta anche una versione con soli due colori.
Iro è proposta come crop (corta nel corpo) ma è possibile realizzare anche la versione standard ripetendo lo schema del corpo per 2 volte come indicato nelle istruzioni. Guida alle taglie e la tabellare pdf ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.
