The shawl begins with two identical pieces which are joined using the Kitchener stitch for a smooth finish. Stitches are picked up along the edges of the joined pieces and the remaining bands of Color are worked in the round.
You may weave in ends as you go, or at the end, whichever you prefer. When weaving in ends in the intarsia section, weave them into the section opposite from where they came from to avoid holes.
