Unique Lace Workshop in Burano

Burano is known for its colorful houses and traditional handmade lace, but nowadays, there are very few women skilled in the art of lace-making.

For this reason, we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to participate in a unique lace workshop in the beautiful rooms of the Burano Lace Museum.

The lace teachers of The Master Lacemakers Association will instruct you in the basic stitches of the craft. You will have the chance to create a small piece of lace, a genuine souvenir of Burano, a unique and precious item.

To make this workshop even more special, you will have the opportunity to obtain the Lace Kit, which includes:

• Pincushion (approximately 40 x 15 cm) with an internal compartment for materials, featuring an internal wooden roller, practice paper, Venetian

paper, thread, and needles.
